I just got my passport a little while ago. It's dark blue and has watermark pictures of different monuments in the USA which I was not what I was expecting. I was expecting blank parchment paper, but I'm not too concerned by the type of paper they bind into my passport. No matter the type of paper it will get me into another country and it makes me one step closer to going to the UK.

Truly I don't have many more steps to go. My biggest ones are applying to the school and applying to the Gilman scholarship, both of which are almost finished. I need my school application looked over and one more letter of recommendation, and I can send it off.

I have to edit my essays for the Gilman scholarship and fill in a few blank spaces in the application, and I will be finished with that.

It will be a relief to finally get those two things done. Comparatively everything else I need to is easy.
